Fredrick Arthur Dunston was born to Annie Less and Travis Dunston, Sr. in Oak Park, Illinois on January 12,1962. Fred was the youngest of six siblings. Fred accepted Christ at an early age and remained faithful during his walk with Christ his entire lifespan. In the past 29 years, Fred became a member of the Metropolitan Church under the pastorate of the Reverend Dr. Candace R. Shultis who was the spiritual advisor and friend. Fred participated fully in the life of the church, and was a member of the gospel choir.
Fred’s early education began in Melrose Park and Maywood, Illinois. Education was an important part of Fred’s foundation. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He then received a Master’s of Science in information Technology at University of Maryland.
Fred served his country in the United States Navy from February 1984 until he was honorably discharged in 1993.

Fred was well known for his incredible smile and laughter. He lit up a room with his grand entrance and always love being in the mist of family and friends. Fred was passionate about life love and laughter living every day with a positive outlook.
