He professed hope in Christ and early age at Greenwood C. M.E. Church and later became a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.
On August 15, 1984, but it was united in holy matrimony to Faye Tucker. Their love was endless, boundless, unconditional and lasted the test of time.
