I was born January 26,1964, to Joseph Burks and Ruth Burks, Lyles [Jefferson] in Maywood Illinois.  I was the oldest child I love to dance I took jazz tap ballet modern dance and I danced for Joyce Willis dance company for about two. I have one sister Tammy Marie Burks Walton and one brother Edmond Troy Lyles

Troy was the baby and he was my baby everywhere I went Troy was with me and I had him all of the time for my mom and we always love to go down south to my grandparents house and have a lot of fun.

Raymond D. Lyles was born on February 19, 1933 in Natchez, Mississippi he was the second son born to union of Mr. Willie and Mrs. Lula Brown Lyles.  Both parents, one Brother Willie Lyles Jr. and one daughter Regina Lyles  preceded him in death.

 Raymond confess Christ at an early age in the holy family Catholic Church Natchez, Mississippi after moving to Maywood Illinois you tend to St. James Catholic until his, health declined.

Raymond received his education in Mississippi and graduated from Holy Family Catholic School in Natchez, Mississippi.  After graduation, he joined U.S. Army and served during the Korean War.

Raymond  was united in marriage to Grace Rowan one into his union six children were born.

He later move to Maywood, Illinois where he met and married Ruth Burks, his spouse for over 35 years. To this union, one son (Troy Lyles) was born. 

Raymond worked for General Motors and retired after 26 years of service.

Raymond was a loving Husband, Father,  Brother and Friend to many.  He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving Wife Ruth, five sons Raylency, Kevin ( wife Melissa), Vincent R., Randell and Edmond Troy,

one Daughter: Andrea Lyles two Stepsons: Lynette Lush and Sam Lush Jr., and three Step-Daughters:  Denise Lush, Evelyn Linton, and Tammy Walton,(husband Tommie), two Brothers: Herman Lyles and Theodore Lyles; three Brother-in-laws; five Sister-in-laws and a host of Grandchildren, and other Relatives and Friends.

Raymond you will be missed.
